We are working towards building a comprehensive “best practice” combination of primarily free and low cost web tools for Student Affairs and Activities.

While the focus here is on student activities and student leadership, many of the same themes and tools will be extremely useful to many other areas of the institution.

Each theme below has [will have!] it’s own page with a brief explanation. As this wikispace grows, stories and case studies will be added to each theme.

This space has been designed for learning through exploration. (In Q2 of 2008, we will be adding a “Technology To Do List” for activities advisors, for those of you that just want a task list without all the conceptual stuff : )

Add your favorite media clips and applications to your wiki in three easy steps:

Go to your favorite video clip, podcast, or embedded application. Anything from Google Calendar to Odeo to YouTube!
Find the HTML code to paste into your site. This will be found in a text box labeled "Embed", "Embed HTML", "Add to My Site/Blog", "Link to this page", or similar.
Paste in the HTML below and click "Preview" to see how it will look. When you save your changes by clicking the "Save" button, your media clip or application will appear in your Wikispaces page.
